About the event

Spend an easygoing afternoon at WaterFire Vineyards learning how to draw and blend colored pencils with artist Samantha Hall on Sunday, September  22nd, at noon. Everyone starts at the entry-level, and she will begin by guiding you through some of the basic techniques. As you hone your skills, you will work your way up to drawing an autumn-themed piece of unique art!

This class will take some time, so please allow three to four hours. It is $45 to attend, which includes the lessons, supplies, and your first glass of wine. A pre-paid RSVP is required. This is non-refundable, as materials are being purchased on your behalf. Please be sure you can attend before booking. We will keep this casual, learning at your own pace and savoring wine as we incorporate the beauty of fall into your art!

About Sam:

Samantha  Hall is a freelance illustrator specializing in colored pencil  drawings. She is very interested in nature's beauty and simplicity and  highlighting that beauty is the focus of all of her work.

Originally from the state's East side of the state, she received her BFA in  Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2015. Samantha now lives and works in Northern Michigan. She spends her time bringing portraits to life for clients and finding beauty in something as simple as a piece of fruit to something as complex as fur and feathers.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, kayaking, exploring breweries and wineries, and, most of all, spending time with her husband, Joe, and their cats and dog.
